Accept payments for your deals using Sponsy
In this article, you will learn how to create a deal and start accepting payments from your sponsors.
1. Configure stripe
Go to your workspace Settings > Payments and click on "Connect to Stripe."
This will prompt you to either create a new Stripe account or connect an existing Stripe account to our system.
2. Create a deal
Once you have connected your Stripe account, every deal you create will display an "Unpaid" badge with an icon next to it.
Clicking on the "Copy payment link" icon will provide you with a link that you can send to your sponsor to initiate the payment process.
3. Get paid
Send the payment link to your sponsor. The sponsor will be redirected to a Sponsy page where they can view information about the deal and make a payment.
4. Track payment
Once the sponsor pays for the deal, you will receive an email notifying you of the new payment, and the badge on the deal will change from "Unpaid" to "Paid," including the date it was paid.
NOTE: All other actions, such as issuing refunds, should be managed directly through the Stripe dashboard.
